Charli XCX is back with another banger after the release of her mixtape Number One Angel earlier this year. The song titled ‘Boys’ was released today with an accompanying (and very pink) music video. The song was also premiered as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record on Radio 1. As of now, “Boys” is not attached to a full length project, but a new Charli XCX record is rumored to be due early 2018. Another day, another One Direction lad making moves towards solo stardom. This time, Louis Tomlinson released his first solo effort, teaming up with hook girl of the moment Bebe Rexha and rising producer/dj Nicholas Gale, better known as Digital Farm Animals. Epic Records, home to acts such as Camila Cabello, Future and Sara Bareilles, recently added Tomlinson to their artist roster hoping to launch his debut album in the near future. “Cold To The Touch” singer Ralph is back with another glimmering pop masterclass. Directed by frequent collaborator Gemma Warren, the music video for “Tease” shows the Canadian pop star tangled in sophisticated blues and picturesque surroundings. According to Ralph, Tease “condones female friendship instead of competition”, a prominent theme in the 3-minute visual. Tease will be included in Ralph’s debut EP, out on March 3rd. Electropop singer-songwriter BANKS continues her string of dark-themed, chilly music videos with her newest one for “Trainwreck” off her 2016 album The Altar. The visual, directed by fashion filmmaker Marie Schuller, follows BANKS as she is being haunted by a trio of masked half-humanoid film directors. Though the meaning of the video is unclear, it feels like a commentary on the dark side of the film industry and how people in power try to manipulate young women. Sean Paul and Dua Lipa have released the brand new music video for their fiery collaboration “No Lie”. The Tim Nackashi-directed video shows the duo performing in a series of locations including a room full of mirrors, the city, and a jungle-inspired scene.
