It never really crossed our minds how much we love, absolutely love Clean Bandit. Listening to their newest single got us wondering if they’ve ever had a song that was underwhelming. No, the answer is a hundred and ten percent no. While we await the release of the new album (can’t wait to give them by coins), the British electronic music group teamed up with Sweden’s finest, better known as Zara Larsson, on the beautifully orchestrated Symphony. A breathtaking and unique brand of soulful pop, sure to age like fine wine. Just when we were recovering from the amazingness of...more

Sweden’s finest Zara Larsson is currently readying her debut album, still yet to be titled but due out later this year. Following the release of “I Would Like” and “Ain’t My Fault,” some of the finest pop music released last year, Larsson has unveiled a brand new single, “So Good.” Featuring Ty Dolla $ign, the aptly-titled track which samples popular song form the 1970s, “A Little Bit of Love,“ was penned by Charlie Puth in collaboration with LunchMoney Lewis, who not only co-penned the track but also produced it. Unlike her heavily-pop-infused previous releases, “So Good” is a slow-burner skewed...more
About time. Zara Larsson has just released the first official single off her (debut) international album, still yet to be named. “Ain’t My Fault” – which leaked online moments ago – was co-written by Larsson, Mack, and MNEK (her “Never Forget You’ partner-in-crime). According to Larsson, the track aka the official #StillYourMan2K16 anthem, is about snatching up a girl’s man without her knowing. In her words, “It’s about talking to a girl about her man and basically I have stolen him from her, without her knowing, and it’s like it’s not my fault, i’m better than you.” Larsson‘s aforementioned project...more
Of all the lists we have had to compile, this, by far, was the toughest. Why? Narrowing the best tracks that were released in 2015 is like finding a needle in a haystack, the haystack being all of the great songs that were released this year. The saying “‘Tis the season” was applicable to the better part of this year as every single day, there was a brand new gift – in the form of music – to be unraveled. To make things less difficult (well, sorta), each Trendio editor was asked to pick five of their favorite songs born...more

Looking back, there were some artists who truly made this year memorable, be it the music they released...more
While her solo single “Lush Life” begins to gain momentum internationally (already charted high in her hometown), Swedish popstar Zara Larsson enlists British singer-songwriter, MNEK for “Never Forget You.” Though the single was slated for an August 20th release, it saw an official premiere today (Sept 10) on BBC Radio 1. Both artists are incredible with the pen, it is no surprise the song is the smash it was expected to be. Larsson kicks off the EDM-infused record, with her noticeably-improved and stronger vocals. “I will never forget you / You’d always be by my side,” she sings. Listen below!
After weeks of teasing, the brand single from Sweden’s very own, Zara Larsson, is here. “Lush Life” is the first single from Larsson’s forthcoming debut album, which is set to land sometime this year. Although it is set to premiere on radio in Sweden tomorrow, the single was made available through Spotify, today (June 4).
