Well, that was unexpected. Weeks after releasing their chart-topping single “Paris,” The Chainsmokers have teamed up with British band Coldplay for brand new single, “Something Just Like This.” The single debuted exclusively on Spotify today (Feb. 22) and it is more than likely going to appear on the GRAMMY-winning duo’s upcoming debut album, skated for a later release date. Unlike their other most-recent releases, Drew Taggart of The Chainsmokers does not contribute any vocals on this track that his fellow Chainsmokers Alex Pall referred to as “one of the dopest songs we’ve ever written.” Hear the track below!

Out today is The Chainsmoker‘s highly-awaited EP, Collage. The EP comes fully-charged with songs like Closer (feat. Halsey), “All We Know” (feat. Phoebe Ryan), “Don’t Let Me Down” (feat. Daya), etc. The EP also has a brand new, unheard-before track titled “Setting Fires” and featuring sibling duo, XYLØ. “Setting Fires” takes a page from the book of Chainsmokers’ previous releases in that it is an instant hit sure to heard time and time again on the radio. Following various teasers, the keenly-awaited collaboration between The Chainsmokers and Halsey has arrived and it is very much worth the wait. The track, entitled Closer, is reportedly the second single lifted off the American DJ duo’s forthcoming debut album, which is slated to be released sometime this year!
