Thanks to Sam Smith this Monday just got a little more exciting. This morning the four time Grammy winner released the music video the new James Bond theme song, “Writing’s On The Wall.” After weeks of teasing the record itself was released nearly a week ago. The 2015 Billboard Music Awards will air live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, May 17, with Ludarcis and Chrissy Teigen hosting. The first batch of nominations were announced by Pete Wentz & Ludacris moments ago on Good Morning America. Unlike any other award show, the show awards artists strictly on how well they did on the Billboard charts, Hot 100 and Billboard 200. So far, the only performers announced is Fall Out Boy! The iHeartRadio Music Awards is back for its second year, this year. Today in Los Angeles, the event is being held at The Shrine Auditorium. The star-studded event is expected to feature performances from the likes of Sam Smith, Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Madonna, and many more. While Pitbull hosted last year’s, Jamie Foxx will be hosting the show this year. As far as nominations go, Iggy Azalea and Sam Smith lead with five nominations each, while Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift both received four nominations.
