Back to regularly scheduled programming, it seems. Taylor Swift has somehow made her way back to No. 1 on the chart, proving once again that is American Horror Story’s definition of “Supreme.” Hits Daily Double reports Taylor’s album, 1989, racked up 70,674 in sales the week of February 14, 2015. Considering Taylor Swift’s album is not available to stream on Spotify, its a miracle her album sales increase drastically with streaming count included. The number is 97,390 (sales + streaming), as reported by HDD. Taylor being No. 1 means Fall Out Boy’s album, which was number one last week, has...more

Sometime in January, Rihanna released the highly anticipated lead single from her yet-to-be-titled eighth studio album. The song, titled “FourFiveSeconds,” features Kanye West and Paul McCartney and it has been labelled as a “grower” (a song you start to like after a couple of listens) by many. Yesterday, Rihanna shared the official music video for “FourFiveSeconds,” directed by Inez and Vinoodh. Like any buzz single, “FourFiveSeconds” has been remixed a couple times. Turns out the same day Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney shot the cover art for Rihanna’s single “FourFiveSeconds,” they also shot the song’s music video. A few minutes ago, Rihanna shared a video on her YouTube channel and in the video, we go behind the scenes of “FourFiveSeconds” music video shoot, with Rihanna giving commentary throughout the video. The music video is directed by the massively talented Inez and Vinoodh. The denim fashion chosen for the video was actually Kanye’s idea. “Kanye came up with the idea of doing just some real street denim all American type look,” Rihanna...more
Breathtaking. That is the word that comes to mind when we glare at Rihanna’s cover for the music issue of I-D Magazine. “Over ten years, seven albums, seven Grammys, two Brits and countless number ones, Rihanna has gone from teen ingénue to worldwide icon. With her eighth album, R8, due any day, we Pour It Up to the Good Girl who we hope will always stay Bad!,” I-D raves! We could be minutes, days, weeks or even months away from the release of the reigning queen of pop’s (as I-D refers to her) highly anticipated eighth studio album, tentatively titled...more
