The frustrating and un-ending days of uncertainty are finally behind us. Yesterday (Jan. 25), Rihanna took to her official twitter account to tease the completion of her eagerly, eagerly anticipated eighth studio album, ANTi. “listening to ANTi,” the Barbados songstress tweeted. While the album’s official release date is still unknown, the aforementioned tweet instilled in us a certain level of hope, that indeed, the ANTi era is in full swing. When all of the ANTi craze began, Kanye West was enlisted by Rihanna to executively produce the album.

Rihanna’s eighth studio album no longer has to be be referred to as #R8. After what seemed like forever, Rihanna has unveiled the cover of her eagerly-anticipated eighth studio album, as well as its title. In the midst of fans and people of the press at exclusive reveal exhibition held in Los Angeles, Rihanna unveiled the cover whilst explaining the inspiration behind it. Sep 27 Watch: Rihanna performs at ‘Rock In Rio’

Day 6 of the biggest festival in Brazil, Rock In Rio, was held today (Sept 26) at Rio De Janeiro in Brazil. Amongst the headliners was Rihanna, who managed to get the entire show, a crowd of over 85,000, sold out in less than an hour. In anticipation for Rihanna’s performance, Australia group Sheppard, Sam Smith, and many more performed.
