Here at Trendio we like to introduce you up-and-coming artists first. Since launching in 2014, we’ve brought the likes of Scott Helman, Tink, Jess Glynne, Daya, Isac Elliot, Years & Years, Jon Bellion, Devon Baldwin, and many more. Ever since discovering Ravyn Lenae, I’ve clung to the fact that she’s the most talented 16-year old to come out of America in a little while. Being a huge fan of Jhené Aiko, any artist that sounds even remotely as appealing as she does excites me to the fullest. So, it is no surprise I’m head over heels in love with everything Ravyn Lenae is about. Trust me, you discovering Ravyn today is the best decision you’d make all week. I look forward to your thank yous in the coming weeks.
Last night, a friend of mine shared a gem with me and I simply cannot get over it. When I say “gem,” I am referring to Ravyn Lenae‘s debut EP, “Moon Shoes.” There is nothing as brilliantly put together as the EP, which landed about a day ago. Surprisingly, it was executively produced by one person, hip-hop beatmaker Monte Booker. For those of you who don’t know the songbird, Ravyn Lenae is a singer-songwriter from Chi-Town. She is without question one of the most talented 16 year olds (YES! She is ONLY 16) in music right now.
