Thankfully, that fact was rendered inaccurate tonight as Pentatonix dropped by ‘The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon’ for a performance. Fresh off the heels of their nearly-sold out tour with Kelly Clarkson, a cappella group Pentatonix debut the first single off their forthcoming and highly-anticipated debut album, which is self-titled and due out October 16 on RCA Records. Taylor Swift’s reign just won’t let up. Even though her album has been out for over a month, Taylor Swift still manages to top the charts this Christmas season. HITS Daily Double just revealed this week’s chart-toppers, that is, the tags who sold the most albums in the past week. As previously mentioned, Taylor is number one with 331,000 copies sold. Having sold 200,000+ units during this week alone, of their second Christmas album “That’s Christmas to Me,” a capella quintet “Pentatonix” has been awarded with their first Gold Record!  Since the Holiday album went on sale in October, the album has been scooting on up the charts.
