Apr 19 No Doubt headlines inaugural Global Citizen 2015 Earth Day festival in DC

Over 300,000 “global citizens” gathered in Washington, D.C. on Saturday to rally for change and the end of extreme poverty and climate change. Earth Day Network and The Global Poverty Project joined forces to put together the free event hosted by will.i.am and Soledad O’Brien, which was held on the National Mall. Beginning at 11a.m., Global Citizen 2015 Earth Day featured over eight hours of musical acts and speeches from world leaders, politicians, and activists aiming to raise awareness and end extreme poverty and climate change. One of the world’s biggest music festival, Rock In Rio, is coming to Las Vegas this year to celebrating its ground-breaking 30th year anniversary. The event is spread out between two weeks, the first one being the ‘Rock Weekend’ (May 8 – 9), and the second one, ‘Pop Weekend’ (May 15 – 16). 2015  just got started and it’s already shaping up to be the best year for concerts and festivals.
