Meghan Trainor takes a break from promoting her successful debut album, teams up with YouTube’s Charlie Puth on his new, which is entitled “Marvin Gaye.”
The single was heard for the very first time on Feb. 9, after it premiered exclusively on Teen Vogue.
As the title suggests, the inspiration behind the song is Marvin Gaye, the late American singer-songwriter and musician.
The song is co-written and produced by Charlie Puth
It looks like the iHeart Music Awards is back for a second year in a row.
Last year, the award ceremony was held for the very first time on May 1 at The Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles, California. Ariana Grande, Pitbull, G.R.L., were some of the performers!

As expected, Meghan Trainor’s album dethroned Taylor Swift’s 1989 in the sales battle this week, as it managed to sell approx. 195,906 copies. Taylor Swift’s album is about 100,000 sales behind, as this week, Hits Daily Double reports 92,102 copies of 1989 were sold. No hassle though, based on the number of copies it sold this week, 1989 has officially gone platinum 4x.
After Carly Rae Jepsen’s platinum selling hit “Call Me Maybe,” everyone was sure she was going to have a great album debut. Everyone’s predictions were a little off as her album “KISS” ended up opening with 30,000+ copies sold.
