The moment we have all been waiting for it finally here. A bunch of albums were released last week, one of which was Meghan Trainor’s debut album, Title. As expected, Meghan Trainor’s album dethroned Taylor Swift’s 1989 in the sales battle this week, as it managed to sell approx. 195,906 copies. Taylor Swift’s album is about 100,000 sales behind, as this week, Hits Daily Double reports 92,102 copies of 1989 were sold. No hassle though, based on the number of copies it sold this week, 1989 has officially gone platinum 4x.
