It’s April. You know what that means? Drake’s eagerly-anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Views From The 6’ is slated to be released. Back in January, Drake quenched our album thirst with the album’s lead single, Summer Sixteen. Ever since, it’s been dead silent – until now, that is. The 6God himself just dropped not one but two brand new tracks, all of which feature some top names. The first track, entitled ‘Pop Style,’ available now via Apple Music, features Kanye West and..wait for it, JAY Z! On ‘Pop Style,’ Ye and Jigga are credited as ‘The Throne,’ a reference to their since-platinum...more

If you’re like us, Kanye West has you in a permanent state of confusion. A little while ago, he announced his seventh studio album – at which time was titled “So Help Me God.” 2016 commerced and before we knew it, the album had been renamed to Swish. Just when we were getting used to calling referring to his album as Swish, he renamed the album once again to Waves. After getting in some major twitter smackdown with Wiz Khalifa on who or who didn’t invent the term Waves, a new name was in the horizon. This week kicked off...more
Living up to the promises Kim Kardashian made last night, Kanye West has dropped the first instalment of his ‘G.O.O.D. Friday’ series. “Real Friends” is a follow-up from last week’s FACTS, and it’s release was melded with Kendrick Lamar-assisted, No More Parties In LA. Fans of West will praise him for this release as “Real Friends” is as authentic as it gets to OG Kanye. The bars are subtle but they go hard. Safe to say things are looking up for Kanye West’s forthcoming LP, tentatively titled Swish.
Sia‘s seventh studio album, This Is Acting, is due out on January 28. As previously reported, this collective is comprised solely of rejected songs she wrote for other artists. She began the era with Alive, which was slated to appear on Adele’s 25 but plans changed. Alive was followed by songs Cheap Thrills and One Million Bullets. Following short social media teaser, Sia shares Reaper, a song meant for Rihanna and co-written and co-produced by Kanye West. Available now along with This Is Acting‘s pre-order, Reaper is a soaring ballad, somewhat distant from Sia’s previous works. Quite frankly, this album...more

The title of a Drake song describes Vic Mensa’s career best, “0 to 100.” The Chicago native went from being fairly known to be on everyone’s radar in a matter of months. Fresh from the booming success of “Wolves,” a Kanye West record that features him and Sia, the 21-year-old has released his own Kanye West-assisted record. The song saw its release on Soundcloud on April 10. If asked to describe the song in one word, the term “HOT” comes to mind. Listen to “U Mad” below!
As we reported last night, the streaming service JAY Z acquired, now referred to as “TIDAL,” launched today, March 30. In celebration of its launch, today in New York City, there was a very star-studded press conference / launch event. By star-studded, we mean Beyoncé, JAY Z, Kanye West, Rihanna, Nicki Minaj, Usher, Coldplay, Madonna, Alicia Keys, and many many more were not only in attendance, they signed the service’s declaration LIVE. One of TIDAL’s selling points, that is excluding the fact that is “combines the best High Fidelity sound quality, High Definition music videos and expertly Curated Editorial,” is...more
