Mar 03 Empire: Music from S01E06 (Unto the Breach)

Last week, we didn’t get to make an Empire music post because the episode featured variations of “You’re So Beautiful,” which we already heard a week before. That, however, didn’t stop last week’s episode from rising once again in ratings. “The Lyon’s Roar” drew a 5.4 adults 18-49 rating with 13.90 million viewers, yet another series high. Feb 10 Empire: Music from S01E06 (Out, Damned Spot)

It’s a new week, you know what that means? New music from EMPIRE! Before we get into the new songs, you will be happy to know Empire broke yet another record ’cause of last week’s episode, Dangerous Bonds. “Empire is the only primetime scripted series to grow in total viewers over each of its first five telecasts since at least 1991,” HipHopDX notes. Jan 21 Empire: Music from S01E03 (The Devil Quotes Scripture)

It is time of the week. Before we get into the music from the third episode of Empire, for those of you who missed it, Empire has been renewed for season 2 (!!). This is kinda huge considering only two episodes have aired. The third episode of the breakout FOX series is titled The Devil Quotes Scripture. There are only two original songs featured in tomorrow’s episode, unfortunately. The first song is “Up All Night” which features one of the show’s leads, Jussie Smollett. Many of you caught the record-breaking premiere of Empire on FOX last Wednesday. The show is back tomorrow at 9/8c with a new episode which is titled ‘The Outspoken King.’ ‘The Outspoken King’ is to feature four different songs, What The DJ Spins which features the show’s lead, Terrence Howard, Adios (feat. Serayah McNeill), Tell The Truth (feat. Jussie Smollett), and one we have already heard, “No Apologies” which features two of the show’s leads, Jussie Smollett and Yazz.
