Just the other day, I was wondering what Jhené Aiko was up to. The most we have heard about her is she will be touring with J.Cole later this year. A few days ago, Jhené celebrated her 27th birthday and like she did last year, she just surprised her fans with somewhat of a ~freestyle~ song. She titled the song “Living Room Flow,” which most likely means she came up with the concept/lyrics while just chilling in her living room. “Living Room Flow” was produced by Fisticuffs, who has produced several other Jhené songs! Listen to the track below!

Now tell me this isn’t the most random collaboration. Nick Jonas just released a re-worked version of one of the songs on his recently-released self-titled album. “Chains,” Nick’s current single, is the reworked song and it features none other than the incredible Jhené Aiko. “Chains” feat. Jhené Aiko saw its first premiere on 92.3 AMP, a New York City radio station. The last time Nick Jonas re-worked one of his songs, he coped R&B newcomer, Tinashe. Jhené is signed to Def Jam while Nick Jonas is signed to Island Records, which used to be Island Def Jam Records. That could...more
FINALLY. The music video for Omarion’s collaboration with Jhené Aiko and Chris Brown. “Post To Be” is the lead cut from Omarion’s 2014 album, Sex Playlist. Produced by everybody’s favorite producer, DJ Mustard, it was released prior to the album’s release. Following in the footsteps of Chris Brown, Omarion had a hand in the direction of the music video. The very un-eventful music video features Omarion, Jhené Aiko, and Chris Brown whipping their heads back and forth, backed by a white background.
Mystery solved. The reason why all those artists were posted a photo of Big Sean’s album ‘Dark Sky Paradise” is because they are all featured on the star-studded album. As Big Sean’s fourth studio album, Dark Sky Paradise, went up for pre-order today, the track listing was also revealed. Out of fifteen songs on the deluxe version of the album, Big Sean raps solo in six songs; Dark Sky (Skyscrapers), Paradise (Extended), Win Some, Lose Some, Stay Down, Outro, and Platinum and Wood. As fas as collaboration go, his current girlfriend, Ariana Grande is featured on a track titled ‘Research.’...more
Spotless Mind was one of the very first songs released from Jhené Aiko’s debut album, “Souled Out.” The first time she performed it was during her first-ever Coachella set in 2014. Following the music video for “Wading,” Jhené Aiko has now released a music video for “Spotless Mind.” The music video premiered exclusively on Elle.com on January 21 and it depicts a “a confident and independent Aiko in the throes of yet another one-sided relationship.” “Shame on me for changing, shame on you for staying the same,” has got to be one of my favorite lines from any song. Fun...more
It looks like Jhené Aiko has finally selected a third single off her debut studio album ‘Souled Out,’ which was released in September of 2014. Before the album was released, “To Love & Die” feat. Cocaine 80s was released as its promotional single. It was followed by “The Pressure,” which was also written entirely by Jhené. Now, the 3x Grammy nominee has debuted a music video for ‘Wading,’ track #7 on the standard edition of “Souled Out.” Wading, the song, was written by Jhené and produced by Dot da Genius aka Jhené’s hubby, while the music video was written and...more
