Jess Glynne’s debut album, I Cry When I Laugh, is shaping up to be one of this year’s sleekest offerings. Following the release of “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself,” the Britain-native has unveiled a brand new track, this time titled “Why Me.” Unlike Glynne’s previous releases, Why Me, which premiered exclusively @ Wonderland, hears a more mellow, down-tempo production. This of course makes Glynne’s unique-sounding soulful vocal range stand out more than usual, making the listener, more than anything, appreciate her tone. Listen Below

Red-haired pop songstress Jess Glynne just unleashed another pop gem off of her upcoming album I Cry When I Laugh. In true Jess Glynne fashion, her new single, titled “Don’t Be So Hard On Yourself”, is a high power track with a dance feel that showcases the singer’s powerhouse vocals. “Because I’m just tired of marching on my own. Kind of frail, I feel it in my bones. Oh let my heart, my heart turn into stone, so don’t be so hard on yourself” sings Glynne on what could be her catchiest chorus to date. The song features a glorious gospel-like bridge and a bright string riff...more

“this song is gonna be a smash” reads the first comment on the official music video for Tinie Tempah’s Jess Glynne-assisted single, “Not Letting Go.” We couldn’t agree more. “Not Letting Go,” which marks the first time these two artists collaborated, is the perfect summer song and it will take little to nothing to make it “smash,” especially in the U.K. The official music video, directed by Charlie Robins & Joe Alexander, landed on May 29. The audio on the other hand saw an earlier release on May 12.
Here’s something we know for a fact: UK has some pretty talented artists. British rapper, Tinie Tempah, who many of you may remember because of his 2010 hit “Written in the Stars,” is back at the music-making business! Following the release of ‘Flash,’ which was released back in January, Tempah has dropped a brand new song, this time assisted by UK breakout star, Jess Glynne. As Tempah is going all out to promote the track, which by the way is titled “Not Letting Go,” it is safe to assume this will appear on the follow up to his 2013 studio...more
It is safe to assume one of the albums we are looking forward to this year is Jess Glynne’s. The British singer-songwriter, one time Trendio ‘Artist Of The Week,’ has just announced her highly anticipated debut album, “I Cry When I Laugh.” The full length album is slated for an August 14 release in U.K., via Atlantic Records. The album comes preceded by not one or two but THREE chart-topping singles, “Holy My Hand,” “Right Here,” and “Real Love” feat. Clean Bandit. Those tunes should be enough for you to consider pre-ordering the album right now on iTunes! Here’s the...more
