It’s about time I add another some new talent to my list of musically-inclined siblings. Let’s get more acquainted with  the latest addition Meet ibeyi (pronounced ee-bey-ee, translated it means “Twins”). The French-Cuban musical duo made up of two very talented twin sisters, Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz. They are daughters of the late Cuban percussionist Angà Diaz. Lisa-Kaindé plays the piano and Naomi comes in with percussion while they both sing in English and Yoruba. It’s very rare that I become really interested in artists that perform in languages I’m not fluent in. But for ibeyi I will make an exception because they’re THAT good....more
