On tonight’s episode of NBC’s The Voice, the battle rounds continued. Ellie Goulding, Lionel Richie, Meghan Trainor, and Nick Jonas all returned to serve as advisers to the coaches, Adam Levine, Pharrell, Blake Shelton, and Christina Aguilera, respectively. Team Pharrell kicked off tonight’s battles, with Caitlin Caporale and Briar Jonnee taking the stage. I have an unhealthy obsession with Hozier’s “Take Me To Church” after watching and being blown away by Neon Jungle’s rendition. Ellie Goulding took time out from slaying the iTunes US charts to take on Hozier’s 2014 SMASH, “Take Me To Church.” Her watered down yet sublime cover was released on her official soundcloud earlier today. If “Love Me Like You Do,” Ellie’s song on the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack taught you absolutely nothing, it should have at least taught you to expect the unexpected from this English songbird. “Love Me Like You” Do is Ellie Goulding’s contribution to the Fifty Shades Of Grey soundtrack. It was initially released in January, shortly after, a music video followed. “LMLYD is No2 on US iTunes what on EARTH here’s the link Maybe bump it up a spot 😉😁💀👀” – Ellie tweeted Feb. 17. Fast forward to Feb. 18, “Love Me Like You Do” is officially number one on iTunes US. Additionally, it is doing incredibly well on US radio, being #15 on pop radio and #17 on Hot AC.

Yesterday, The Weeknd released the official music video for “Earned It,” a song he did for Fifty Shades Of Grey. Today, January 22, Ellie Goulding has released the music video for the song she did for the soundtrack titled “Love Me Like Do.’ The music video, which features scenes from the highly-anticipated movie, is directed by Georgia Hudson. ‘Love Me Like You Do,’ the song, was initially released on YouTube on January 7th and that video currently has over 15 million views.
