After over a week of non-stop spam on your timelines, the first wave of nominees for this year’s “Teen Choice Awards” are here.
Currently in its 17th year, the Teen Choice Awards “honor the year’s biggest achievements in music, movies, sports, television, fashion, and more, voted by teen viewers.”
This year, in addition to fans picking their favorite surfboard design, the TCAs will be held on Sunday, August 16 at 8/7c and it will air LIVE on FOX!

Twitter has been filled with celebrities (and non celebrities) and their red noses all day. For those of you who don’t know, they are supporting a phenomenal cause, also known as Red Nose Day.
Seth Meyers, David Duchovny and more are participating in the comedy benefit, which is currently airing on NBC, to lift kids out of poverty.
Ed Sheeran was one of tonight’s musical guests. His performance may have aired before the first hour of the show was over but it takes home the award for ‘cutest performance of the night.’

Here in Canada, there are only a handful of award ceremonies, at least music-related ones.
Outside of the JUNO Awards, which we attended earlier in the year, the next best thing is Much Music’s Video Awards.
As we previously reported, Ed Sheeran’s will co-hosting this year’s award ceremony, currently scheduled for June 21, 2015.

Incase you missed it, Ed Sheeran picked a new single off his album to succeeded the incredibly successful, “Thinking Out Loud.”
After listening to his album for the very first time, “Photograph,” the new single was my instant favorite.
Ed has just premiered the music video for “Photograph.” The video, filled with baby clips of Ed himself (as he claims), was directed by Emil Nava.
“Photograph” is scheduled to impact Top 40 (mainstream radio) on May 12th. The video is SOOOOOO adorable. Watch it below!
The iHeartRadio Music Awards is back for its second year, this year. Today in Los Angeles, the event is being held at The Shrine Auditorium.
The star-studded event is expected to feature performances from the likes of Sam Smith, Rihanna, Iggy Azalea, Madonna, and many more.
While Pitbull hosted last year’s, Jamie Foxx will be hosting the show this year.
As far as nominations go, Iggy Azalea and Sam Smith lead with five nominations each, while Ariana Grande and Taylor Swift both received four nominations.
Ed Sheeran has just unveiled the visuals for his Rudimental-assisted single, “Bloodstream.”
Like the music video for Charli XCX’s newest single, Famous, the music video for “Bloodstream” was created for the 2015 YouTube Music Awards, taking place today, Monday 23. On March 17, Ed shared a brief teaser of the Emil Nava-directed music video.
