Last week, we introduced you to four pretty spectacular artists, Oh Wonder (chosen by Jesus), Luv’Rell (chosen by Reneé), Laura Roy (Haley’s pick) and Daniel Johns (Sarah’s Choice). DJ and producer Zedd has finally unveiled the tracklist for his upcoming studio album True Colors. The album includes collaboration with the alternative-pop band Echosmith, who ascended into stardom with their sleeper-hit “Cool Kids”, Youtuber-turned-popstar Troye Sivan, and up-and-coming pop song mastermind Jon Bellion. The lead single “I Want You To Know” featuring Selena Gomez managed to peak at #17 despite the lack of promotion. The song was recently certified Gold in Australia. The alternative pop group Echosmith just released the lyric video for their newest single “Bright” off their debut album Talking Dreams. The follow-up to the smash hit “Cool Kids” re-entered the Billboard Hot 100 this week and is currently rising on Pop Radio. Looks like the Sierota siblings have another hit under their name. The Cool Kids are back! Echosmith’s music video for their second mainstream single, “Bright”, is officially out. The band, composed by siblings Jamie, Noah, Sydney and Graham Sierota, go camping and stargazing in their heart-warming new video. The video was directed by Declan Whitebloom, who has worked with artists such as Taylor Swift and Hilary Duff. One of the world’s biggest music festival, Rock In Rio, is coming to Las Vegas this year to celebrating its ground-breaking 30th year anniversary. The event is spread out between two weeks, the first one being the ‘Rock Weekend’ (May 8 – 9), and the second one, ‘Pop Weekend’ (May 15 – 16). The line for the show show, which has been broadcast to over a billion people in it’s history, features some of the big names in today’s music. 2015 just got started and it’s already shaping up to be the best year for concerts and festivals. The third edition of BottleRock Napa Valley festival will be taking place on May 29-31, and will be featuring more than 70 tags spanning indie rock, rap and world genres.
