The year is nearing an end but the excellent discoveries just keep coming! Every now and then, you stumble upon someone who oozes such delightful musicality, so much so you are convinced they are fantastic long before you delve into their creativity. This week, I’m extremely thrilled to introduce you to the ethereal vocalist that is CYN. CYN – real name Cynthia – dashed onto my music radar earlier this year, when her sparkling collaboration with producer Felix Snow hit the web.
Just when we thought we couldn’t fall anymore in love with Felix Snow, he tops his previous release with another stunning record. Remarkable. Earlier today saw the release of “Now You See Me”, Snow’s most recent collaboration with promising up-and-comer, CYN. Following in the vein of his previous releases, “Now You See Me” is a ridiculously catchy electro-pop gem, showcasing Snow’s underrated skills as a producer, but most importantly, places him on the same pedestal as some of today’s biggest producers, the likes of Max Martin, as Hilly Dilly noted.
