Has anyone been able to figure out what is going on with Becky G’s career?! We love the latina chica to death but its been one song after the other, with no word on her full length debut album. First came Shower, then came Can’t Stop Dancin’, then came Lovin’ So Hard, then came Break A Sweat… What exactly is going?! Oh well, Becky has just released a new song to be added to the list above. This one is titled “You Love It” and it was released today (Oct. 30), without prior notice. It isn’t as banging as her...more

Today is officially the best day of the week as a brand Becky G new single was just released. The song, titled “Break A Sweat” received its first airplay on various US Top 40 stations, including KDWB. This is Becky‘s first release in months, a follow-up to the minimally-successful “Lovin’ So Hard.” Both songs join “Shower” on Becky G’s highly highly highly anticipated debut album, which Becky, who is currently on tour, teased about on Twitter earlier this month. “So what you thinking? Album done? @TheDoctorLuke,” she tweeted. Luckily, “Break A Sweat” is an gyn-ready uptempo record, which is on...more
One of our favourite music rap/pop/everything else protegés Becky G has today released a surprise new song to the world. “We Are Mexico” is a (very short) song that is dedicated to all the Mexicans and other ethnicities that are treated as minorities in the United States. We doubt that this is an official single, heck, it’s almost too short to describe or criticize, it’s more of a statement of empowerment than a real song, but it’s still great nonetheless. Viva Mexico! If you don’t know now you know! Check it out below!
Becky G got some serious bars. Following the release of her current single “Lovin’ So Hard,” a brand new song from the 18-year-old Inglewood-native just hit the web and it is something else. The song is titled “Dodger Blue” and it hears Becky G rapping – a complete contrast from her recent release “Can’t Stop Dancin'” and one of 2014’s smashes “Shower.” “Get your facts straights / Yes, I’m a Gomez but I don’t know Selena,” she raps (and we hope she will continue to). Listen below!
Becky G has just released a music video for my current favorite song and her current single, ‘Lovin So Hard,’ which was released last month. As teased, the music video features her real life boyfriend Austin Mahone, who confirmed recently that they were indeed an item. In the music video, released earlier hours of Wednesday morning, Becky G and Austin, referred to by the fans as “Becstin,” hit the studio together, a beach in Miami, oh and they go get ice cream and tacos together. Secute! Watch the “Lovin’ So Hard” music video below!
We are a few days shy of the 2015 Radio Disney Music Awards, which will be hosted by Disney Channel’s very own, Zendaya. “Music’s biggest event for families,” as it is called, is to be held in Sunday April 26, at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. Prior to today, the performers confirmed were Nick Jonas, Becky G and R5. Today, we can confirm that Natalie La Rose will be making her award show debut at the RDMAs’ stage. She will be joined by past performers, Fifth Harmony, newcomer Sabrina Carpenter and Rachel Platten (known for her “Fight Song”).
April Fool’s day is now officially the equivalent Christmas day for us Becky G fans. The 18-year-old singer-songwriter-rapper, just dropped another new song, following the Radio Disney premiere of “Lovin’ So Hard.” The new song is titled “My Bae” and as far as we can tell, MTV is the source. Credits for “My Bae” surfaced online a while back. Per ASCAP, the song was co-penned by Becky, Lukasz Gottwald, Henry Walter, Theron Thomas, Alexander Castillo Vasquez. Listen to “My Bae” below!
