It’s official, y’all.
It’s been four years since Beyoncé snatched our wigs with her 2013 Super Bowl Halftime Show, and exactly four years since she embarked on her fifth headlining concert tour.
The tour was announced following her fiery performance at Super Bowl XLVII. All of the shows sold out almost immediately, prompting more dates to be added.
On April 15th, 2013, The Mrs. Carter Show World Tour opened in Belgrade, Serbia. With 132 shows in 27 countries, the tour became the highest-grossing female and solo tour of 2013.
Personally, The Mrs. Carter Show was the first time I saw Queen Bey live, and my life was changed forever. I was blessed to see her twice on this tour — once in Las Vegas, NV at the MGM Grand and once in Washington, D.C. at the Verizon Center.
