Concert Review SXSW: PHANGS at The Nashville House Posted by Jesus A. • March 15, 2017

Nashville is not all about country and pop newcomer PHANGS made it loud and clear at SXSW’s The Nashville House at Teller’s last evening.

With honest 80’s inspired electro-pop tunes, similar to those of bands such as COIN and LANY, and a strong falsetto, PHANGS’ Jake Germany performed a magnetic high energy 30-minute set that represented everything that is good about the pop renaissance currrently happening in Nashville, TN.

Set highlights included the debut single “Cul De Sac” and upcoming collaboration with rapper R.LUM.R “Always Been U”.

This was PHANGS’ only show at SXSW this year.
