Video WATCH: JOSH DEVINE – “THE HARDEST PLACES” Posted by JB • July 12, 2016

One Direction live drummer and solo artist Josh Devine has released the first installation of a documentary series titled “The Hardest Places.” Josh Devine toured with 1D for four years until the boy band announced their hiatus in August 2015. That same month, Devine released his debut EP Through The Fire alongside Ollie Green.

“The Hardest Places” is the beginning of a full social media campaign to raise funds for Rwandan communities. Devine teamed up with Food for the Hungry to provide children with food supplies and better educational facilities.

Josh Devine first became aware of the struggles in Rwanda when he sponsored a child through Food for the Hungry.

From there, the humanitarian organization flew Devine out to Rwanda to meet his sponsored family. In Africa, Devine witnessed Rwandan life first-hand. This first episode documents his experiences and immersion into the community’s culture. Moreover, the video outlines the goals of the Food for the Hungry campaign.
