Album Album: Nick Jonas – “Last Year Was Complicated” Posted by Staff at Trendio • March 24, 2016

Nick Jonas wastes no time whatsoever.

It’s been about 2 years since the release of his self titled debut solo album. But during a late night twitter rant Nick revealed that the wait for new music would soon be over. Which is amazing news considering how he’s set to take on a huge tour with his Camp Rock Co-Star & BFF Demi Lovato this summer.

He announced that he had been working on his sophomore album for nearly a year and a half and it’s essentially a labor or love and heartache. In his rant he tweeted, “When I first started making I thought I knew what it would be about… Then I had a breakup. It then became very clear what this thing would be about… And that I would need to dig really deep.”

But that wasn’t all that the pop star reveled. He went on to announce that the first single from the album would be released for all to hear tonight (Friday March 25th) and that the album would be up for pre order in that time as well. But he soon changed his mind and decided to release the track listing, the name of the album and it’s release date.

The album is titled “Last Year Was Complicated” and it’s set to be released on June 10th. Nick also announced a few of the artists that he collaborated with on this body of work. He listed Big Sean, Ty Dolla $ign, Tove Lo, and NBA legend Allen Iverson as artists he was thankful for being apart of this project, but failed to say which artist was attached to each.

The track listing for Last Year Was Complicated is down below.
