Chartin’ – Big Sean’s “Dark Sky Paradise” Is Way Up On The Charts!

On Feb. 24, 2015, Big Sean released his third studio album, Dark Sky Paradise. Upon release, the star-studded album made its way to the top of the charts in a number of countries, including the United States and Canada.

Kid Rock also dropped an album, titled “First Kiss” on Feb. 24. Even after attempting to make himself relevant in the news this past week, with his misogynist Beyoncé-related comments, his album failed to top the charts this week (Godisreal.gif)

According to HDD, by a very very small margin, Big Sean’s “Dark Sky Paradise” won the weekly sales race, racking up 135,577 sales. Taking streaming into account, the album remains No. 1 commanding 167,742 sales + streams.

Kid Rock comes in second this week with 138,988 sales + streams. He is followed by the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack, which comes in at No. 3 with 107,277, 66,424 of which are pure album sales.
