2016 breakout star Maggie Rogers twirls around in a summer camp setting in new video for second single “Dog Years”.
Filmed at Wohelo Camps in Maine, the video follows the Capitol Records signee as she surrounds her friends with warmth and affection like a ghost that they fail to acknowledge. The video is the second of a trilogy directed by Rogers’ frequent collaborator Zia Anger.
Rogers took to Facebok to announce the video release. “Overwhelmed and overjoyed to share the second installment in the trilogy of videos I’ve made with my dear friend and collaborator, Zia Anger. Shout out more »
Where Pia Mia is heading with her career as an artist is still fairly unknown. With all the music she’s released so far, it (sadly) seems like she or the team behind her are testing the waters, crossing their fingers that something finally sticks, almost as much as “Do It Again” (feat. Chris Brown and Tyga) did or tried to.
Today, she confirmed the aforementioned statement once again with her latest release, “We Should Be Together.” Preceded by On & On (her understandably underrated release from October), “We Should Be Together” is an extremely soothing more »
When Desiigner was freestyling his way through “Timmy Turner,” we bet he had no idea it would become of those songs that ever cover sounds fantastic (i.e. Hotline Bling).
Up until now, our favorite renditon was easily Chloe x Halle’s but we’ve just stumbled upon a bit of competition. By competition, we mean a take by Londoners, Raye and Stefflon Don, which premiered earlier today on GRM Daily.
Not only do the ladies have the song sounding completely brand new, a reggae-leaning twist was added and it truly elevated the song to new more »
You wanna know the real definition of shook? US right now considering a song by ZAYN and Taylor Swift just hit the internet.
Per iTunes, the song is titled “I Don’t Wanna Live Forever” and it is the official theme song of the forthcoming Fifty Shades sequel, Fifty Shades Darker.
With the impact both artists have, in terms of fans, this could easily be 2016’s biggest release even though the year is pretty much done. That, and revisiting the success of “Earned It” and “Love Me Like You Do,” tracks from the prequel – more »
Our favorite musical-trio is b-a-c-k!
After crushing last summer with their massively-impressive single “Who Do You Think Of?,” the girls enlist Don’t Mind‘s Kent Jones for yet another smash of a single, titled Not In Love.
Already performed live, Not In Love is an nostalgic uptempo reggae-tinged smash, once again setting the girls apart from other musical trios out right now.
This track is exactly what we needed to end this year on a good note. Hear it below!
G.R.L. is offered up some brand new music, a much better follow-up to Kiss Myself, their comeback single, released in September.
“Are We Good” hears production credits from Australia’s Hook N Sling (Galantis, NERVO) and it marks the girls’ second release since becoming a trio and going independent.
We’ve always been huge fans of G.R.L., so much so that we had a whole feature on them but if we’re being honest, maybe it’s time to wrap up the act as all their releases so far have sorta tarnished their good name and the more »
It’s official. Camila Cabello is no longer the only member of Fifth Harmony in the solo’s sphere. As of today (Dec. 9), Lauren Jauregui, by way of Marian Hill’s brand new single “Back To Me,” makes her debut.
Following in her bandmates’ footsteps, Jauregui lends her vocals on the newly-released single by the emerging duo, a dream combination teased about on social media days before its release.
“Back To Me,” like Marian Hill’s previous releases lands on the indie-pop spectrum, with a repetitive rhythm through the song. For her first track without more »
