The first thing you notice when you walk into a Katy Perry concert is the variety of people she attracts. There are the expected crowd of parents with their young daughters (and sons), teenage girls, young women & gay men. To my surprise there were also quite a lot of older couples (40+) that were there sans-kids. Every one of them enjoyed the show as much as the next, and some of the parents enjoyed it more than the small children they brought along.
