Queen of generosity strikes again.
Months after the release of her sophomore album, “E•mo•tion,” Carly Rae Jepsen has returned with the album’s B Side (songs that didn’t make the cut).
Announced merely a few days ago, “E•mo•tion Side B” comes loaded with eight brand new tracks, all of which are solid tracks, which begs the question – How many great songs does CRJ have in her music archive?
Though it’s pretty much impossible to surpass how superb “E•mo•tion” is, this complication is exactly what we needed to end the summer on a disco, fun-filled more »
Carly Rae Jepsen’s EMOTION is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
While the hype of the recent #RunAwayWithMeme trend is still going, Jepsen premiered her brand new video for “Boy Problems” today. The Petra Collins directed visual takes inspiration from 80’s sitcoms with cheesy transitions, over the top fashion and bright colored lights.
The video follows Jepsen and her girl squad, which includes Rookie Magazine’s Tavi Gevinson and Instagram Model Barbie Ferreira, through different scenes including an office and a sleepover.

Of all the lists we have had to compile, this, by far, was the toughest. Why? Narrowing the best tracks that were released in 2015 is like finding a needle in a haystack, the haystack being all of the great songs that were released this year.
The saying “‘Tis the season” was applicable to the better part of this year as every single day, there was a brand new gift – in the form of music – to be unraveled.
To make things less difficult (well, sorta), each Trendio editor was asked to pick five of more »
It’s officially Christmas time and Carly Rae Jepsen knows it.
The 29-year old singer, who released one of the most critically acclaimed and underrated pop albums of the year E·MO·TION, recorded a cover of WHAM’s Christmas classic “Last Christmas”.
Jepsen’s cover is sonically cohesive with her sound for this era. It’s heavily influenced by the sounds of the 80’s and her sweet-as-sugar voice gives it just the right dose of nostalgia. Saxophones, sensual harmonies and finger snaps all make an appearance in Jepsen’s version of the song.
