Kendrick Lamar is absolutely owning the GRAMMYs tonight. In addition to winning a number of the awards he is nominated for, Kendrick took the stage and delivered a rather powerful and fantastic performance, one people will be talking about past tonight. Watch his performance below!
Living up to the promises Kim Kardashian made last night, Kanye West has dropped the first instalment of his ‘G.O.O.D. Friday’ series.
“Real Friends” is a follow-up from last week’s FACTS, and it’s release was melded with Kendrick Lamar-assisted, No More Parties In LA.
Fans of West will praise him for this release as “Real Friends” is as authentic as it gets to OG Kanye. The bars are subtle but they go hard.
Safe to say things are looking up for Kanye West’s forthcoming LP, tentatively titled Swish.
Of all the lists we have had to compile, this, by far, was the toughest. Why? Narrowing the best tracks that were released in 2015 is like finding a needle in a haystack, the haystack being all of the great songs that were released this year.
The saying “‘Tis the season” was applicable to the better part of this year as every single day, there was a brand new gift – in the form of music – to be unraveled.

Fellow Nigerian, Jidenna, released his now-smash hit of a single, “Classic Man” earlier this year. For those of you who missed it, the track, which was lifted off The Eephus EP, samples Iggy Azalea’s 2014 hit, “Fancy.”
Back in June, Jidenna enlisted American hip hop artist Kendrick Lamar from a remix of the smash hit. Today (July 15), the remix was brought to life with the debut of the star-studded music video. Unlike the original music video, which was directed by Alan Ferguson, this one was directed by Benny Boom. more »
Kendrick Lamar only knows how to do big things.
Not only did he drop his album “To Pimp A Butterfly” out of thin air. Last week he did a concert in the middle of the street in Hollywood! And now he has released the music video for his song “King Kunta” in an even bigger way.
Most artists typically go with a tweet or link to their vevo page, but not Kendrick, he premiered the music video in Time Square. Yes, THE Time Square in NYC with all the builings and jumbo screens. Yes.

The internet was all buzz this week, following the early release of Kendrick Lamar’s third studio album, “To Pimp A Butterfly.”
The album, which was initially scheduled to be released yesterday, was released on March 16, after an apparent screw up by his label, Interscope Records.
The first record the album broke was Spotify-related. Per reports, “To Pimp A Butterfly” was streamed on Spotify more than 9.6 million, beating Drake’s 6.8 million record.
Furthermore, “To Pimp A Butterfly” landed the No. 1 spot on the weekly sales chart. The album racked up 355,372 sales more »
In the midst of all the Friday night craziness, Kendrick Lamar announced his highly-anticipated third studio album, [Untitled].
The album, which is slated to land March 23, is available for pre-order on iTunes right now, with a rather interesting choice for an artwork (look to the right).
[Untitled] will feature “The Blacker the Berry,” the racially-charged song which Lamar released on Feb. 9, 2015.
Every other song on the iTunes track list is named “Track #” but we can confirm the album has 16 songs, one of which is most likely the grammy-winning track, “i.” more »
