American singer/songwriter Halsey was also a performer at this year’s “Made In America,” which took place in Philadelphia this weekend.
While The Weeknd headlined the second day (today) of the festivities, Halsey was the second to take the “Rocky Stage,” when the show began.
During her set, she performed some from her critically-acclaimed Badlands album, one of which was her current single “New Americana.” Also during her set, her parents hopped on stage to say hi to the fans.

By this time next week, Halsey, the internet’s new it-girl, would have released her hotly-awaited debut album, Badlands. In anticipation, Halsey dropped by ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’ tonight (August 25) to make her late night television debut.
As her current single is ‘New Americana,’ the blue-haired songstress blessed the Kimmel (outdoor) crowd with a performance of the track, released back July.
Though we do not get to watch all of it, Halsey also performed three songs from her forthcoming album: Hold Me Down, Castle, and fan-favorite, Colors.

Another day, another song by Halsey.
This time is a track titled “Drive”. The song was accidentally leaked by Spotify Mexico early on July 10th.
“All we do is drive. All we do is think about the feelings that we hide. All we do is sit in silence, waiting for a sign” sings Halsey on the guitar-led chorus. The song incorporates car sounds such as doors closing, the sound of a blinker and seat belts clinking.

Alternative pop songstress Ashley Frangipane, best known as Halsey, is truly the gift that keeps on giving.
Just a few days after the mysterious “leak” of her track “Coming Down”, fan-favorite “New Americana” was released on iTunes as an instant gratification track for those who pre-ordered the 20 year-old’s debut album Badlands.

A new song by alternative pop singer/songwriter Halsey surfaced on the internet earlier today. The song, titled “Coming Down”, was leaked online by a mysterious Soundcloud account named BadlandsRadio, which fans believe is managed by Halsey herself.
The track follows the same theme as the 20-year old’s debut single “Ghost”, in which she falls in love with someone who is not good for her. It is a gloomy mid-tempo track built around minimal production, acoustic guitar and a quiet drum beat.

Alt-pop singer-songwriter Halsey just released a new track titled “Hold Me Down” off of her debut studio album, BADLANDS. Along with the track, Halsey unveiled the album’s cover art and its tracklist. BADLANDS is set to be released on August 28, 2015 via Astralwerks.
