It’s April. You know what that means? Drake’s eagerly-anticipated fourth studio album, ‘Views From The 6’ is slated to be released.
Back in January, Drake quenched our album thirst with the album’s lead single, Summer Sixteen. Ever since, it’s been dead silent – until now, that is.
The 6God himself just dropped not one but two brand new tracks, all of which feature some top names. The first track, entitled ‘Pop Style,’ available now via Apple Music, features Kanye West and..wait for it, JAY Z! On ‘Pop Style,’ Ye and Jigga are credited more »
Throwback to 2010.
Times were very different, so much simpler.
Obama was president, the National average cost for a gallon of Gas was $2.73 and Apple had just released the iPhone 4 and the iPad.
Rihanna and Drake had also collaborated for the first time on the record “What’s My Name?” The track made it’s debuted at #83 on Billboards Hot 100 only to jump to number one three weeks later. Making this record Rihanna’s eighth number-one single on the chart and Drake’s first. It was a smash single and it was played on the radio every 5 more »
When Drake temporarily ended his Twitter hiatus to tweet “OVO Sound Radio Episode 14 tmrw at 3PM PST/6PM EST…it begins,” it was blatantly obvious he was up to something.
Fast forward to today (Jan. 30), for the first time in a little while, Drake hosted the episode – with good reason, because he premiered Summer Sixteen, presumably the first single off his forthcoming and highly-anticipated album, Views From The 6, due out April 2016.
This is particularly exciting because even though Drake’s been teasing Views From The 6 for the longest time, more »
The hunger and thirst for Rihanna’s forthcoming LP, ANTi, has exceeded the point of being describable.
If someone told me in 2012 that it would take three+ years to receive another album from Rihanna, I would have flat out giggled. But here we are, in 2016, still waiting on Rihanna to come through.
Oh, well. Things are starting to look up as snippets of Rihanna’s new collaboration with Drake, have surfaced online.
Per the struggle and hustle of her fans, the song is titled Work and its music video was shot in a more »
Just when we thought we were done hearing Hotline Bling covers…. we get another one and it’s amazing.
I mean all of the covers were amazing, but this one is just a little above the rest.
Our recent Artist of the Week, Donna Missal, has just released her version of Drake’s smash single. She takes the song to a whole new level.
If you ever wanted to know what a Drake song would be like if you made it edgy, then this song will help you with that vision.
But to make things more amazing, Donna more »
Well here’s something we all thought we would never thought of putting together… Sam Smith & Drake.
Looking in retrospect this collab should’ve happened a long time ago because Sam & Drake aren’t that different. They’re both known for making songs that get you all in your feelings about loves gone wrong and they both have won Grammys for those exact projects.
And now we finally get to hear what it would be like to have Sam & Drake on a track together.
While on a visit on BBC’s Live Lounge, Sam & his buddies from more »
“I prefer this cover to the original,” reads 89.9% comments on YouTube artists, especially under videos of (un)known YouTube covering songs in vogue.
Have you ever heard a cover version of a song that…well, sounds better than the original? We sure have.
That is how the idea of “Cover vs. Original” was born. Here’s how it will work – We find a cover version of a song that we really really like, then, we have you vote that cover versus the original.
Believe it or not, that is a very very hard task, especially more »
