Rachel Platten ‘Fight Song’ is No. 1 on iTunes

After nearly 12 years of non-stop hard work, Rachel Platten can finally say she topped iTunes (US).

The song’s recent success can be accredited to Platten’s “Fight Song” performance with Taylor Swift, during Swift’s tour stop in Philadelphia, this past weekend.

“I have tears in my eyes & my heart is exploding. #FightSong is #1 on iTunes. I kept believing, even when it seemed impossible. And so did u,” the 34-year-old singer-songwriter tweeted.

After a fan tweeted that her song had overtaken Taylor’s “Bad Blood” which was previously plastered at No. 1, Platten responded saying: ” I think miss Taylor was quite aware of what she was doing. She’s amazing. I’m beyond grateful.”
